Lo que estamos viendo no es menor. Este desarrollo tiene implicancias importantes para el mercado argentino en particular, donde los precios y la disponibilidad de hardware suelen ir por otro camino diferente al resto del mundo.
Desde el punto de vista técnico, hay varios puntos que vale la pena destacar. Primero, la arquitectura detrás de todo esto representa un salto generacional real, no solo marketing como a veces nos quieren hacer creer. Segundo, los números que se están manejando en los laboratorios de benchmarking son prometedores, aunque siempre hay que esperar a probar en condiciones reales.
También hay que tener en cuenta el tema del consumo energético. En un país donde la electricidad no es precisamente barata, esto puede marcar una diferencia importante en el costo total de propiedad a mediano plazo.

Si estás pensando en actualizar tu PC, mi consejo es que esperes a ver los análisis completos con hardware real en mano. No te dejes llevar por el hype de las presentaciones oficiales. Los números que importan son los que se obtienen en el día a día, no los que se muestran en los slides de marketing.
También te recomiendo considerar qué vas a hacer con tu hardware actual. A veces vale más vender lo que tenés ahora mientras todavía tiene valor de reventa, y esperar a que los precios se estabilicen.
